Job Description
Essential Functions
As a Senior Web Developer, you will be tasked with architecting,
creating, upgrading and refining custom web applications and
content management solutions for our clientele. Additionally, you
will be responsible for assisting in requirements gathering with
clients and coordinating with internal development resources to
architect and deliver client solutions.
Specific Responsibilities
- Expert level C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, AJAX, CSS programming
skills
- Experience with Ektron CMS400.net, Sitecore, Umbraco and/or
Sharepoint a PLUS
- Building high-performance, mission-critical applications
- Understanding of web application structure from end-to-end
- Participation at all phases of the SDLC
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Documenting system configurations
- Troubleshooting reported problems
- Being on call during off-hours to deal with critical systems
issues and outages
Requirements / Qualifications
- Have at least 5 years of industry experience in building mid to
large scale web applications
- Have a demonstrated proficiency with a range of Microsoft
platform based systems products, including: Windows Vista, Server
2003, Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2005, 2008,
Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.0
- Be an excellent written and verbal communicator; capable of
dealing directly and confidently with systems administrators,
project managers and client stakeholders
- Be organized and able to effectively deal with multiple
concurrent accountabilities
- Love technology and always be proactively working to stay
abreast of the latest in hardware and software developments
- Be an expert in security and high volume, high scalability
environments
- Be self-directed and able to work with minimal guidance
