Connection and Power Redunancy
Just how far do you need to go to make sure your Internet
connection and power systems are redundant? How far does your
hosting provider go?
Our data center provides two completely redundant power yards fed
by two completely different power grids. This makes the probability
of a power loss low, but not non-existent. So we add a critical
power source to each rack that's backed up by fly-wheel generators
operating on diesel fuel with 3000 gallons of storage.
Our Internet connection is provided with a blend of three separate
up-stream providers, two primary and one fail-over. We connect to
these via redundant Gigabit fiber connections.
In short, our network doesn't go down. Make sure your provider has
what it takes to keep you up and running. And contact us today
if we can help.
