The American Society of Anesthesiologists Selects Foundation648 To Implement New Website Using Sitecore

Indianapolis, IN - April 19, 2010 - The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) has selected Foundation648 to implement a new Sitecore website for their main ASAHQ.org domain and numerous sub and third-party sites.

In late 2009 the ASA began discovery on re-designing their entire association's web presence. Contracting the consulting services of .orgSource to consult on and manage the project and the creative design services of Davis Design Partners (DDP) to completely re-design the user interface and online brand, ASA put out an RFP looking for the appropriate contractor to supply development services for the entire build-out.

This build-out would include design templates and the conversion thereof for all parts of the ASA online network, a CMS implementation and complete content conversion from the existing static HTML website, rich site-wide search capabilities, and development of a complete single-sign-on (SSO) architecture between all applicable websites. This was all to be accomplished prior to a hard deadline in October of 2010.

Foundation648 has responded to the RFP by offering to provide all above services within the time frame specified. Furthermore we recommended Sitecore as the optimal CMS solution. After a final phase of discovery the ASA has chosen both Sitecore as the platform and Foundation648 as the primary development contractor for this ambitious project.
