Foundation648 Selected by ASA To Implement Telligent Community Software
Indianapolis, IN - November 1, 2011 - Foundation648 has
been selected by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)
to implement an online social community, "myASA", for the ASA
membership using the Telligent Community software
platform.
Following the successful deployment of a new
website and web-presence in October, the ASA moved into the
second phase of their online brand update strategy; to create an
online social community and issued an RFP. Foundation648 went
through a discovery phase based on project requirements and
responded to the RFP recommending the Telligent Community software
package as the basis for the new "myASA" community portal. ASA
selected Foundation648 for this development task and work began
immediately.
Approved wireframe design templates from the design firm of Davis Design Partners will be
used to customize the Telligent implementation with a custom UI
skin to create a seamless transition between the existing
association website and the community. Content integration will be
programmed between the Telligent software and the Sitecore CMS
system which manages the main association site's content.
Furthermore association member account and log-in data will be
integrated into Telligent from ASA's implementation of the Protech
CRM software to provide a robust single sign-on (SSO) experience
for all users in the ASA web sphere.
The myASA social community system is to be deployed into
production in March, 2011.
